9.9.9. in the Garden!

One hour in our garden
Frantically working,
Cutting back unruly hedges,
Left me quite exhausted.
That is all that's needed,
Only sixty minutes
In our low keep haven,
Made for stress-free living.
Colour and diversity,
Reside in perfect harmony;
Assorted birds are cheerful,
In this little reserve.
Not much mortal toil here,
Designed to please the idle;
The minimal maintain it,
Ideal for the thoughtful.

I like the garden and the poem, but the first verse doesn't seem to fit the rest. I wanted you to slow the pace of the maintenance so as not to be frantic or exhausted x

You get a special 'underlay' from the Garden Centre.....You have to stunt the growth of the grass..at the very least...I lifted some...and applied systemic weedkiller to all of the ground....
